Biography
Danielle Simon, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined the Northwest Cancer Centers team in October 2024. She completed her undergraduate studies in nursing at Valparaiso University in 2016 and spent the next eight years treating patients in a hospital setting. In addition to providing compassionate patient care in the ICU, Danielle honed her leadership and communication skills while serving as a charge nurse at Community Hospital’s IMCU, where she mentored coworkers as a nurse preceptor and served as a quality board member to assure all patient’s received high-quality care.
Danielle continued her education at Purdue University Northwest, earning a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner with high honors. It was during a clinical rotation at Northwest Cancer Centers that Danielle first gained significant exposure to the oncology field. After graduating, she chose to specialize in Oncology and Hematology, dedicating her career to providing patients with cutting-edge cancer treatments and compassionate care.
Danielle takes great pride in treating her patients as individuals, ensuring she meets their unique needs and concerns. Outside of her professional life, Danielle enjoys travel and relishes time with friends and family.
