Biography
Dr. Qualls' interest in helping patients with cancer began during her undergraduate studies at Boston College. She continued in medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where her interest in cancer care grew as she witnessed the positive impact compassionate & knowledgeable physicians had on her loved ones with cancer diagnosis'. Following a year of internship in the Chicago area at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Dr. Qualls continued her Oncology training as a 4-year resident in the Radiation Oncology program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Upon completing her residency at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Qualls returned to the Chicago area and began her work at Northwet Cancer Centers. She sees patients at the Methodist Hosptial Southlake Campus.
Dr. Qualls treats patients with a wide variety of diagnosis' and aims to bring advanced radiation treatment techniques to Northwest Indiana that result in a reduction of the toxicities related to radiation treatment. Dr. Qualls takes pride in building meaningful relationships and learning about their lives beyond cancer treatment.
